When it comes to party planning, I don’t just like to throw events—I like to personalize them as much as I possibly can. My 21st birthday was no exception. Inspired by my July 1st birthday and my newfound legal drinking freedom, "Grace’s Independence Day" was born—a celebration of stars, stripes, and summer sips.
From menus to signage to décor, I designed every detail with a preppy, coastal Nantucket-esque aesthetic in mind. My favorite part was my signature cocktail: the Red, White, and Blueberry Spritz—a drink I named, crafted, and designed graphics for, ensuring it was as Instagram-worthy and on-theme as it was delicious.
This party embodied my aesthetic, my love for a fun time with friends, and a celebration of being legal. The end result of all of my hard work on this event? A party that was red, white, and true to my vision, which was the best birthday gift of all!
